Fitness is very much at the forefront of interest by both the military and civilian communities. The quality of the facilities and programs at Kings Bay are considered to be some of the best in the Navy.

The Fitness/Sports Complex includes a full gymnasium, cardio theater, free-weight and strength conditioning rooms, group exercise room, wally ball and racquetball courts, outdoor sand volleyball courts, lighted tennis courts, football/soccer field with a quarter-mile synthetic running track, three lighted softball fields, and swimming pools.

All of our Personal Trainers are nationally certified and are available to conduct individual fitness appointments as well as support any command commitment for physical readiness. Staff members are available during all hours of operation to conduct facility orientations.

Our Group Exercise Instructors conduct many specialty classes such as: Spinning, power training, Pilates, Yoga, step aerobics, Strictly Abs, cardio boxing, family cycling, and Tae Kwon Do.

Kings Bay also offers a Family Fitness program. By design, families participate in fitness activities together and receive nutritional education. Our certified trainers will monitor their progress for eight weeks.

Intramural Sports are played throughout the year. They consist of basketball, flag football, softball, and golf. Additionally, we offer wally ball and racquetball tournaments.
