Site Scape

Per OPNAVINST 5100.23 (series), chapter 7, Safety and Occupational Health professionals are required to perform a safety and health review of hazardous material proposed for addition to the Authorized Users Listing (AUL) prior to purchase of the hazardous material.

Once a requester of hazardous material submits a request, an email is sent to Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Safety representatives with a link to SiteScape, which is hosted on the Naval Supply Systems Command website. SiteScape is a collaborative business tool that allows multiple users to communicate and share information in a secure, Web-based environment.

After logging in, these personnel will review the request for the hazardous material and annotate approval/disapproval with comments. After approval by all three groups of personnel, the HAZMIN Center will order the material and notify the requestor via e-mail that the product was approved. If disapproved the HAZMIN center will notify the requestor via e-mail and will offer an approved substitute if available.

Visit the Hazardous Material/Waste/AUL page to review the process for obtaining hazardous material and to submit a request.
