FFR encompasses three program areas: Family Readiness (Fleet & Family Support Centers), Fleet Readiness (Child & Youth Programs, Morale, Welfare & Recreation, and Food Service Galleys) and Housing Services & Lodging (Bachelor & Family and Navy Gateway Inns and Suites). NEW: The 2013 Hampton Roads Ombudsman Appreciation Dinner will be held Thursday, Oct. 3 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. All Commanding Officers, Officers in Charge, Executive Officers, and Command Master Chiefs and Senior Enlisted Leaders are encouraged to attend with their ombudsmen.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour, leading into dinner at 7 p.m. Guest Speaker will be announced at a later date. The cost of the dinner is $10 per person and registration forms can be found at the following link:
