Show some love, CFC Kicks off

This  year’s Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) kicked off Oct.3 at Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi and will  continue  until  Dec. 2.  The CFC, created  through  efforts  within  the  Eisenhower  administration  to stablish  standards  and  coordination  on  federal  workplace  solicitations, was first conducted in 1964.  It allows federal employees to donate to more than 2,600 different  national  and  international  charities,  ranging from small community organizations to some of the largest and most well-known global charities.

“By donating through the CFC, Sailors have an opportunity to not only help various charities but affect change in local and global communities as well,” said NAF Atsugi CFC Community Area Project Officer, Chief Petty Officer Allan  Rosete.   Read full story
