Joint Services Transcripts (JST) formerly SMART

Joint Service Transcript (JST/SMART) documents the number of potential college credits the American Council on Education (ACE) recommends for formal military training and occupational experience. The primary purpose of the JST/SMART is to assist service members in obtaining college credit for their military experience.

Service members should check to make sure their JST/SMART is correct before requesting it to be sent to colleges or universities.

Members can view, download, and print their unofficial JST/SMART by going to the JST/SMART website:  https://www.navycollege.navy.mil/jst_info.html.  At the website, discover  how to obtain copies, make corrections, FAQs, how to order an official JST/SMART for a college or university, etc.

To view your unofficial JST/SMART, go to https://jst.doded.mil/smart/registration.do and register for a JST account.  Once you’ve logged into the JST website, click on the link at the top that says ‘Transcripts’.  From there, you can view your transcript by using the ‘Transcript’ link.  This page also has links that allow you to view your transcript.  The transcript contains sections for Military Course Completions, Military Experience and College Level Test Scores (CLEP and DSST credit-by-exam scores).  You can print or save the transcript for your records.
