Providing attorney services for Courts-Martial and Article 32, U.C.M.J. proceedings, and other matters involving suspected violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Requests for defense services for non-Navy personnel, such as United States Marine Corps or Coast Guard members, will be supported as resources permit. 

Functions of the Defense Department include but are not limited to:

  • Detailed Defense Counsel Services for Courts-Martial
  • Article 138/1150 Complaints
  • Evaluation Rebuttal
  • Inspector General Complaints
  • Non-Judicial Punishment Advice/Appeals
  • Appearances at Interrogations
