Submit a letter to the editor

Letters from Salt Lake Tribune readers are printed in the Public Forum in the Opinion section of the newspaper and online.

Email letters@sltrib.com (no attachments), fax to 801-257-8800, or mail to: Public Forum, The Salt Lake Tribune, 90 S. 400 West, Suite 700, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101

Letters must include the signature, full name, address, phone number and email address (if available) of the author for verification purposes. Only the name and city will be published. Letters should be no longer than 300 words. Concise letters developing a single theme are more likely to be published. For printed submissions, please type and double space throughout. Letters are condensed and edited. Because of the volume of mail received, not all submissions are published.

Submit a commentary for the editorial page

We welcome reader submissions for the daily op-ed pages and Sunday opinion pages. All submissions must be submitted exclusively to The Salt Lake Tribune.

Email to George Pyle at gpyle@sltrib.com (no attachments), fax to 801-257-8515, or mail to: George Pyle, The Salt Lake Tribune, 90 S. 400 West, Suite 700, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

All submissions should include the name, address, telephone number and some information on the author so that it can be included on the end of the piece. Submissions must be no longer than 600 words and arrive no later than Wednesday at noon for publication on Sunday.
