Proper reporting of evaluation background, methodology, and results is a key step to fostering understanding of services and programs provided by SAMHSA and the positive impact they may have at the national and international levels. SAMHSA’s evaluation findings are instructive as the agency seeks to promote effective programs and to keep with its FY2019 - FY2023 Strategic Planning priority area #4: improving data collection, analysis, dissemination, and program and policy evaluation.
