What We Do

ADB supports projects in developing member countries that create economic and development impact, delivered through both public and private sector operations, advisory services, and knowledge support. Strategy 2030 sets the course for ADB's efforts to respond effectively to Asia and the Pacific's changing needs.

ADB’s Response to COVID-19

“This pandemic threatens to severely set back economic, social, and development gains in Asia and the Pacific, reverse progress on poverty reduction, and throw economies into recession,” said ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa.

An assistance package of $20 billion has been deployed to help our developing members counter the severe impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and address the urgent needs of the sick, the poor, and the vulnerable.

We are supporting our developing members in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak through finance, knowledge, and partnerships.
