This week's episode highlights Kim Oxender, the first recipient of the BMV’s “What’s on Your Plate” award. Her plate reads KBOB, which honors her late son Kaleb who was killed in a crash. He was only 20 years old. Although Kaleb’s life was taken, through organ donation, he has given life to 64 people. Kaleb will be honored in the Rose Bowl parade on January 2 through a floragraph. The goal is to spread awareness about organ donation. Follow “This is Real Life” on social media using #thisisreallifeohio and #saferohio.
