The State and Local Energy Efficiency Action Network (SEE Action) is composed of eight working groups that advance recommendations for the design and implementation of state and local energy efficiency policies and programs.
The working groups are organized around the largest opportunities to increase state and local investment in energy efficiency. Each working group includes stakeholders and experts from across the country representing state and local governments, associations, business leaders, non-government organizations, and others. SEE Action working groups are under the guidance of the Executive Group.

SEE Action Executive Group members provide vision, strategic direction, and drive to ensure SEE Action reaches its goal.
Customer Information and Behavior Working Group
SEE Action’s Customer Information and Behavior Working Group focuses on reducing energy consumption through behavior-based energy efficiency programs and strategies.

The Existing Commercial Buildings Working Group focuses on improving energy efficiency in commercial-scale public and private buildings by promoting solutions for whole-building and organization-wide improvements.

Industrial Energy Efficiency and Combined Heat and Power Working Group
SEE Action’s Industrial Energy Efficiency and Combined Heat and Power (IEE/CHP) Working Group addresses cost savings opportunities in the US manufacturing sector by sharing successful practices for state and local policies that encourage industry’s adoption of energy efficiency measures and implementation of CHP.

Residential Retrofit Working Group
SEE Action’s Residential Retrofit Working Group aims to accelerate the establishment of a self-sustaining home energy upgrade industry by providing key information on successful practices in residential energy efficiency policy and program design to state and local policymakers, building owners and contractors.

The Driving Ratepayer-Funded Efficiency through Regulatory Policies Working Group provides assistance and tools to policy makers and other stakeholders with roles in the relevant oversight forums on potential solutions for motivating utilities to lead to significantly increased energy efficiency.
