Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act
Organizations that receive NMBCA grants must follow the guidelines given here. The authority for the Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act grant program is Public Law 106-247-July 20, 2000. General provisions applicable to grants awarded by agencies of the U.S. Department of the Interior, including definitions of terms used in these guidelines, are in Title 43, part 12, of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). General Provisions applicable to the acquisition of real property under a Federal grant, including definitions of terms used in this document, are in 49 CFR, part 24. The actual laws and regulations take precedence over any restatement, summary, or interpretation in these guidelines.
- For projects with field activities located exclusively within the United States: U.S. Grant Administration Standards.
- For projects with field activities located exclusively outside of the United States: Grant Administration Guidelines for Projects Outside of the US.
- For projects with field activities located both inside and outside the United States: both the U.S. Grant Administration Standards and Grant Administration Guidelines for Projects Outside of the US apply.
- For projects with the US Fish and Wildlife Service as the recipient: Internal Agreement Standards
