State and National members are eligible to receive an education award after successful completion of service. The value is dependent on length of service. State and National members 55 years and above are eligible to transfer their award to a family member. See details.

- Be 17 years or older (no upper age limit)
- Pass a national service criminal history check
- Hold one of the following citizenship statuses: US citizen, US National, Lawful Permanent Resident Aliens
