Access to any of NETL’s sites is limited to visitors with valid business purposes. Arrangements to visit NETL must be formally requested through a federal NETL employee with whom collaborative conversations have previously occurred.

Site Safety and Security
All visitors, with the exception of those with a standard Department of Energy (DOE) badge, must obtain a visitor badge from NETL Security to access NETL facilities.
In order to receive a visitor badge, you must provide NETL Security with proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a valid photo ID, driver’s license or passport.
Foreign national visitors must coordinate with their NETL host to complete the paperwork necessary to access any NETL site. Additional proof of citizenship may be required, which your host will inform you of.
Please leave any camera or recording device in your car, as photos and audio recordings are prohibited.
Prohibited Articles
The following articles are prohibited on NETL’s sites. If upon inspection you are found with any of these items in your possession, you will not be granted access to NETL.
