Learn more about the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties (CRCL) outreach and engagement with communities throughout the nation, as well as the training we provide to both Department personnel and our partners.

  • Community Engagement 
    CRCL engages diverse American communities whose civil rights may be affected by Department activities. We respond to community concerns and provide information about Department programs, activities, and issues.
  • Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Training 
    CRCL improves civil rights and civil liberties awareness and compliance through training modules and tools and technical assistance.
