Getting Started using DHS Data!

DHS is providing an increasing number of datasets through APIs.  To make development easier, we are planning on providing SDKs as they become available.  So to get started with:

  1. Create an account and request an API Key,
  2. Download an SDK for your platform,
  3. Build an App

Accessing existing DHS Apps

You will find the latest collection of Web and Mobile applications at our Citizen Application Directory page. Here we have catalogued our collection by topic and included short descriptions of each tool to help you find what you need. Although most of the applications are web-based tools, there are some mobile applications on the list as well.

You will find the latest collection of publicly accessible data at our Find DHS Open Data page.  Here we have catalogued our collection of data sets and included short descriptions of each data set to help you find what you need.  You can formally request any of the reports or data products found on these pages using the “Suggest a Dataset” link.
