Presidential Innovation Fellows (PIF) pairs industry's top technologists, designers, and strategists with federal changemakers to co-create bold solutions for public good. Embedded within agencies as “entrepreneurs in residence” for one year, our fellows bring the best of data science, design, engineering, product, and systems thinking into government.
Our fellows
We seek technologists who are passionate about solving complex challenges at the largest scale. Our fellows understand how to uncover problems, prototype solutions, and gather support from complex organizations. They join us from every region in the United States, with experience at big tech, startups, research labs, and more.
Join us
PIF is a tech and innovation job unlike any other. For one-to-two years, you use your powers for good alongside incredible civil servants. And when you graduate from our program, you join our alumni community of 150+ technologists advancing mission-driven solutions at local, national, and international levels.
Your job as a PIF is to serve, build, and amplify. Success is measured by the number and quality of connections you have facilitated, by the number of useful and valuable products/services/things you have co-created, and the number of career staff that you have protected, empowered, and elevated.
