Working as a team, they collected palmetto, American lotus, greenbrier, and river cane along the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway near Columbus, Mississippi.

Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin: USACE announces extension of State and Agency review period for the Final Environmental Impact Statement and Master Water Control Manual

MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District, announced today the extension of the review period for the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed update of the Master Water Control Manual (WCM) for the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin.

MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District (USACE) is scheduled to host a Public Scoping Meeting Jan. 24, 2017 on the George County Board of Supervisors and the Pat Harrison Waterway District (Applicants) proposed Pascagoula River Drought Resiliency Project.

Allatoona Lake to accept Christmas trees for recycling

MOBILE, Ala. - The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduled to accept unwanted, live Christmas trees for recycling Dec. 26, 2016 through Jan. 21, 2017 at Allatoona Lake. Artificial trees will not be accepted. USACE will provide seven (7) drop-off sites.
