Minnesota IT Services, led by Minnesota’s Chief Information Officer, is the Information Technology (IT) agency for Minnesota’s executive branch, providing a wide variety of IT services to over 70 agencies, boards and commissions. A subset of those services are also made available to other Minnesota government entities and education institutions. In its governance role, MNIT Services sets IT strategy, direction, policies and standards for enterprise IT leadership and planning.
With a staff of nearly 2,100 dedicated and innovative IT professionals, we work in over 90 physical locations, including 22 agency-based offices.
We build, maintain and secure the State’s IT infrastructure.
We support the State’s digital services for Minnesota citizens. Our staff manages over 2,000 distinct applications, both citizen-facing and back-office.
