Executive Order 13839 “Promoting Accountability and Streamlining Removal Procedures Consistent with Merit System Principles” issued May 25, 2018 requires executive departments and agencies subject to chapter 75 of title 5, U.S. Code (agencies), to advance and assist a Federal supervisor’s ability to promote civil servant accountability while providing each employee with the appropriate procedural rights and protections.
