Office of the General Counsel

Date: September 15, 1999
File Number: 002818
Matter of: [xxx]

OPM Contact: Jo-Ann Chabot

The claimant, a veterinarian employed by the [agency], claims compensation for time spent traveling to poultry processing plants from July 8, 1992 through April 10, 1998. It appears from the claim file that the claimant initially submitted this claim to his employing agency on June 12, 1998. The claim is denied for the reasons stated in our claims settlement decision #S002601 (April 1, 1999). A copy of that decision is attached.

This determination is final. No further administrative review is available within OPM. Nothing in this settlement limits the employee's right to bring an action in an appropriate United States Court.
