VHA may not provide medical services that are part of care to be provided by correctional institutions. HCRV provides information to Veterans while they are incarcerated so they may plan for re-entry themselves. Please see state-specific resource guides which identify steps that Veterans can take prior to their release. Specialists' emails are provided because they are usually in the community in prisons – if there is no response within several days, please re-email the Specialists. Please provide your contact information and a brief message outlining your concern.
