As we release our Fall Semiannual Report to Congress (SARC) highlighting our work from April 1 through September 30 of this year, the country still finds itself amid a global health crisis that has impacted just about all aspects of American life, including the bedrock of any democracy — the voting process.

In addition to our regular duties and responsibilities during this period, we helped to make sure mail-in voting was as secure and efficient as possible for the November general election. No small feat, given the record-setting 65 million ballots that were sent via the U.S. Postal Service.

The infographic below gives you an overview of all our work for the six-month reporting period: 60 audit reports, management advisories, and white papers issued, with the Postal Service accepting 95 percent of our recommendations; 1,180 investigations that led to 301 arrests and more than $1.2 billion in fines, restitutions and recoveries, more than $114 million of which was turned over to the Postal Service.

We invite you to read our report to better understand how we fulfill our mission of ensuring efficiency, accountability, and integrity in the Postal Service.

I am having constant ongoing issues with the mail delivery by the local post office. This is going on for years and despite my numerous complains nothing is being done to correct the issue.
