Proposal Statistics
Most recent proposal call stats: The spring proposal call closed on February 26, 2020. 751 instrument requests were submitted, 492 for SNS and 259 for HFIR. At SNS, 177 proposals were awarded beam time, and 139 proposals were placed in alternate status with the potential to be approved if scheduling allows. At HFIR, 134 proposals were awarded beam time, with 73 proposals placed in alternate status. 37% of proposals submitted to SNS were approved, and 52% of proposals submitted to HFIR were approved.
