NAL offers data management policy and planning, repository management, data and metadata curation and consultation, and preservation. Current domain and related informatics expertise includes biological sciences, geospatial and biophysical sciences, genomics, federal open data policy, and life cycle assessment.
In addition to services, NAL provides an integrated portfolio of data products that support ARS and external agricultural research communities. This portfolio builds FAIR data management capacity on top of the strong foundations of NAL’s library services. We are seeking new collaborations that fit our scope and mission. If you are interested, please contact the NAL Knowledge Services Division at Susan.McCarthy@usda.gov with a subject line "Inquiry about collaboration."
