Microsites are websites that contain content focused around a specific topic. NIC has decided that there is too much content on some of the topics below to make it a part of the main website, so we've broken it out into its own micro-website. There are a number of distinct advantages to micro-sites:
- They can have their own branding (look and feel) so that you always know where you are.
- Site search in micro-sites only searches content on that site.
- Content can continue to be added and enriched over time to continue to add value.
- You can enrich a microsite over time and add to its value by continuing to add content.
