This position serves as a Senior Systems Accountant performing work relating to the financial activities of the Financial Systems Division within the Financial Systems Directorate (FSD). The incumbent of this position plans, directs, manages, designs, develops and maintains an agency-wide financial management system. The incumbent also serves as an expert advisor and assistant to the Chief, Financial Systems Division for administering a central financial management system with complex modules. The position is responsible for the core financial system configuration and maintenance, customer support, system audit and management of the Legislative Branch

Financial Management System (LBFMS) Momentum for the Library and customer agencies to comply with the Library and government-wide policies and directives. The position is also responsible for interpreting, analyzing, and developing accounting and financial management policies to assure that LBFMS Momentum conform to Library of Congress requirements and I.T. Security directives.
