National Estuaries Week Events
In 2019, we celebrated National Estuaries Week with more than 60 events across 15 states that engaged more than 8,000 volunteers!
In 2020, we remain firmly committed to celebrating the places we love, yet we recognize the need to do so in ways that protect public health and honor the unique challenges faced by coastal programs. We hope you’ll join us from September 19-26 by participating one of the events below!
We encourage you to register virtual events and self-guided activities people can do somewhere safely outside at their open pace during National Estuaries Week. If you do proceed with group events, we hope you’ll encourage appropriate social distancing measures and follow local and CDC guidelines. Event and activity registration allows us to track National Estuaries Week metrics—information we use to demonstrate how committed people are to protecting estuaries around the country.
