The Office of External Engagement oversees EXIM’s relationships with stakeholders including trade associations, industry groups, chambers of commerce, and think tanks; coordinates EXIM’s annual conference and EXIM’s participation in external events; and administers the Advisory Committee and Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee.

Stakeholder Engagement
The office manages relationships with key external stakeholders to connect EXIM with those organizations’ export-ready member companies and provide the tools and resources needed to compete in the global marketplace.

Annual Conference
EXIM’s Annual Conference features keynote remarks, plenary discussions, and interactive breakout sessions with international business, academic, media, and government leaders. The conference also provides opportunities for attendees to network and generate new business deals and recognizes outstanding EXIM customers and stakeholders with an awards program.

External Events
The office supports the planning and execution of events sponsored by EXIM and external stakeholders to build awareness about EXIM’s financing tools and products for both large and small businesses.

Advisory Committees
The congressionally-established Advisory Committee and Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee advise EXIM on the development and implementation of policies and programs to ensure the EXIM meets its mandate to provide financing that empowers U.S. exporters to compete globally.
