2017-2018 Oral Health – Dentition (OHXDEN_J) dataset was updated to correct coding errors in OHX04CSC, OHX08CSC, OHX29CSC, and OHX29CTC for 3 records.

Documentation for the following pooled-sample datasets were updated to reflect the correct units of the reported analyte values. No changes were made to the actual data points of any analytes in these datasets.

The 2001-2002 surplus serum folate dataset was updated to correct a calibration bias in the serum folic acid determination. Please refer to the analytic notes in the documentations accompanying the datasets for more details.

2015-2016 Oral Health – Dentition dataset were updated with additional data on secondary restoration codes that were collected on teeth had untreated dental caries and had an existing restoration. Updates were made to both the data file as well as the documentation.

2011-2012 Fatty Acids – Serum (FAS_G) file was updated to correct target age for the analytes and to include additional text on subsample weights in the documentation. Serum fatty acids were measured for all examined participants aged 3 to 11 years, and participants aged 12 years and older who were examined in the morning session in 2011-2012. No changes were made to the actual data points of any analytes in the dataset.

In addition, the limits of detection (LOD) were updated in Table 1 of the documentation to reflect the correct values. No changes were made to the actual data points of any analytes in these datasets.

Industry and occupation group code variables have been added for participant’s current and longest held jobs.

URXUCR was updated to correct the Limit of Detection, only six data points were affected.

2013-2014 Aldehyde – Serum datasets (ALD_H & ALDS_H) were updated to correct the Limits of Detection (LOD) for various analytes in the LOD table in both documentation files. However, only data for one analyte (LBXI5AL-Isopentanaldehyde)was updated, as the LOD was corrected from 0.119 ng/mL to 0.316 ng/mL.

2011-2012 Oral Health – Dentition File (OHXDEN_G) was updated to provide the 2011-2012 dental fluorosis clinical assessment data in a separate dataset (FCXCLN_G) to be consistent with the release of the 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 data. Variables for the 2011-2012 fluorosis data were renamed to reflect the new file name (i.e., prefix changed from OHX to FCX). There were no changes to any data values. There were no changes to any variables remaining in the 2011-2012 Oral Health – Dentition file.

The SSANA_A, SSANA_B and SSANA_C are combined into one 6-year dataset SSANA_A with a set of 6-year weight attached.

TFA_A was updated to add data points for children 6-19 years.

2011-2012 folate and folate form datasets were updated to correct a calibration bias in the serum folic acid determination. Please refer to the analytic notes in the documentations accompanying the datasets for more details.

2007-2008 serum folate forms dataset was updated to: 1) add two comment code variables (LBDSF1LC, LBDSF2LC) documenting cases with values below lower detection limit, these variables were inadvertently omitted from original release; and 2) rename two folate form variables as “LBXSF1SI” and “LBXSF2SI” to reflect the SI unit (nmol/L) of their values, no changes were made to the actual values of these two variables.

GLU_I dataset was updated to round the LBXGLU variable to the nearest whole number.

Documentation for the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) datasets in three earlier cycles were updated. 2001-2002: References were added; and 2003-2004 & 2005-2006: units of measurement for MTBE and Trihalomethane analytes were corrected to pg/mL. No changes were made to any data points in these datasets.
