Summary

We will audit FAA’s Advanced Technologies and Oceanic Procedures (ATOP) Program, evaluating FAA’s management of program costs, schedule, and performance. We will focus our efforts on FAA’s progress in providing the first operational system to Oakland, CA. ATOP will modernize FAA facilities that are responsible for managing large segments of airspace over the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, significantly increasing the efficiency and capacity of international air traffic.
