This page allows you to search the records in the Surface Transportation Board’s formal dockets, specifically, the filings and agency decisions. (Copies of environmental comments for formal dockets can be found here.) You may search for these records using the filters provided, including docket number, partial docket number, date range, and words or phrases in the records or docket title.
To see all filings and decisions for an individual docket, select “Dockets (Including Service Lists)” in the Search For field. This search will also give the option to generate a service list.

NOTE: The Board is in the process of updating its recordations registry. Temporarily, to do a complete search of recordations you must search the Recordations Archive page in conjunction with either the Rail Recordations page or the Water Recordations page.
During the recordations registry update period, both the Rail Recordations and Water Recordations pages do not contain recordations filed on May 8, 2020, through October 30, 2020, but recordations filed from any other date can be found there. Recordations filed on May 8, 2020, through October 30, 2020, can be found in the Recordations Archive, which contains all recordations up to October 30, 2020.
