Log in to TEAS and TEASi

Set up your USPTO.gov account

To access the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and TEAS International (TEASi), you need to log in to a USPTO.gov account with two-step authentication as of October 26, 2019.

Latest news about login

Strengthening security with login

The addition of the login requirement is the first phase of strengthening the security of the trademark filing process. Future phases will enhance the security process by being able to verify account holder information and allowing more control and delegation of access to forms.

Changes to your filing workflow

The most noticeable changes to your trademark filing workflow will be:

  • Logging in with two-factor authentication before you can access TEAS or TEASi forms.
  • The 30-minute timeout after inactivity. You will receive a pop-up warning after 25 minutes of inactivity.

If you manage or use third-party systems that interact with TEAS, you'll likely be impacted by the new TEAS login requirement. If you need additional information as you prepare for this change, please send questions to TEAS@uspto.gov.
