| The Facilities Management (FM) School will provide the VA Acquisition workforce with the courses necessary to demonstrate the core FM competencies outlined in Public Law 111-308. Core competencies include: building operations and maintenance, energy management, sustainability, water efficiency, safety (including electrical safety) and building performance measures. Effective December 14, 2012, Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy (VAAA) Facilities Management School (FMS) has launched an improved course registration process for FMS approved courses. Please use vaaafms@va.gov to register for all FMS approved vendor provided courses. Emails to this inbox will be monitored by the Office of the Registrar (OOR) at the VA Acquisition Academy. To request enrollment please submit the course name, course number, vendor name, course location and course date(s). OOR will enter the course information in TMS and provide course access information. |
