State-Level Data Maps
The Healthy People 2020 team understands that public health professionals often need data that’s more targeted than national averages. That’s why the HealthyPeople.gov data search function, DATA2020, now includes a feature that shows state-level data maps for objectives where data are available.
Why use the State-Level Data Map feature?
The State-Level Data Map feature offers state-specific snapshots for some measureable Healthy People 2020 objectives. With this feature, you can:
- Easily visualize objective data for each state through interactive maps
- See how data points have changed over time in states of interest
- Compare data for states of interest with other states
- Compare data for states of interest with the national average
