Registration now open

Want to bring the field of cutting edge killer whale research to your classroom? Do you want to get your students actively involved in the conservation of these amazing animals? Then download a registration packet and sign up for what one teacher has described as "one of the best presentations I have seen in many years of teaching".

Better yet, the program comes to your school at no cost for those classes who complete our "Kids Making a Difference Now!" take home activity. A big thanks to all of our sponsors, including the Russell Family Foundation, NOAA Fisheries, the Norcliffe Foundation and to folks like you for making this possible!

In the 2008-2009 school year we are expanding our geographical range, offering programs as far south as Portland, Oregon and San Francisco!

If you want to "bring the field" of orca research and conservation to your classroom, click here and download a copy of our registration form (Adobe PDF) or call the office at 206.660.0835.

Make a difference at your home!

Join us and help to protect our region's orcas by downloading and completing our “Kids Making a Difference Now” Activity". Take a look at what you are doing around your home, whether it is power consumption, water usage or the products in your cupboards and use this activity to reduce your impact and make your home "orca safe". The activity is fun and easy to complete and takes less the 20 minutes. Download your sheet by clicking HERE.

As an added bonus, once you complete the activity, drop your results in the mail to us and we will send you a complete set of The Seattle Aquarium's Orca Trading Cards. The 22 card set features the members of J Pod and includes tasty tidbit’s of information about the individual whales, as well as general KW info on the back. (Limit one set per participant) .

So don't wait! Join the thousands of students who have already demonstrated that they can make a positive impact when it comes to orca conservation.

Can we help them? YES WE CAN!

We look forward to adding your results to those of our program participants
