The goal of this brief is to increase understanding of how autonomy, when used appropriately, can enhance the ability of weapons to not only serve their intended, legitimate purposes, but also decrease timelines in an extremely time sensitive situation to protect people and assets from, in many cases, deadly, indiscriminate threats.
