The Coalition to Advance Research Equity (CARE) Network

Mission

The mission of the CARE Network is to increase key stakeholder engagement by more effectively and efficiently communicating NIMHD’s role in advancing the science of minority health and health disparities to interested parties. The CARE Network also aims to provide opportunities for stakeholders to share their views and concerns with NIMHD regarding current and future research on minority health and health disparities.

Description

The CARE Network is a two-way communication channel between NIMHD and its key stakeholders (i.e., individuals, professional organizations, research and advocacy organizations, educational institutions, and other entities with an interest in NIMHD research) to facilitate the sharing of information and news related to the science of minority health and health disparities.

CARE Network members will have access to upcoming NIMHD events and CARE Network activities. Members will have the opportunity to engage directly with NIMHD staff and others working in minority health and health disparities research by attending an annual meeting as well as smaller events throughout the year.
