Bus Safety Program

Overview

FTA's Bus Safety Program provides technical assistance to the bus transit industry to advance improvements in bus safety and support implementation of Safety Management Systems. Through this program, FTA provides voluntary guidance materials and tools, and collaborates with industry groups to improve coordination of bus safety efforts across the country.
