Notice of Correction Regarding Participant/Trainee Support Costs for PAR-11-243 MARC Ancillary Training Activities (T34)

The purpose of this Notice is to announce that applicants for PAR-11-243: MARC Ancillary Training Activities (T36) are to complete the section on Participant/Trainee Support Costs and to disregard the last bullet under the “Ancillary Training Budget Component” that appears in Section IV. Application and Submission Information.  This section should be thereby read as follows:

Ancillary Training Budget Component

Follow all instructions provided in the SF424 (R&R) Application Guide with the following modifications:

• Applicants must complete and submit detailed categorical budget requests using the SF24 Research and Related (R&R) Budget Component found in the application package for this FOA by including the PHS 389 Detailed Budget for the Initial and Entire Budget Period Direct Costs forms as instructed on the NIGMS website http://www.nigms.nih.gov/Training/MARC/MARCAncillaryTraining.htm
• Include all personnel other than the PD/PI(s) in the Other Personnel section, including clerical and administrative staff.  
• Use the section on Participant/Trainee Support Costs to include all allowable categories of funds requested to support participants in the program.

All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
