Whether communicating in English or another language, using accurate and consistent terminology can improve the mortgage process for all parties involved. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, FHFA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac have collaborated to create standardized glossaries in Spanish and traditional Chinese. Glossaries in Vietnamese, Korean, and Tagalog are now available.
