Continuous learning activities enhance the skills of acquisition professionals, affords opportunities for professional growth, and can improve the quality of services rendered. Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) certified workforce members are required to earn Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two years to maintain their certification. The required number of CLPs differs for FAC-C, FAC-P/PM and FAC-COR and are detailed on their respective FAI.GOV certification pages. CLPs are tracked and monitored by workforce members, supervisors and Acquisition Career Managers (ACMs) through FAITAS. Continuous learning opportunities should be used to obtain training in core competencies, maintain critical acquisition skills and obtain agency specific training.

Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) Continuous Learning (CL) Fact Sheet: The FAC CL Fact Sheet contains continuous learning information and links to assist acquisition workforce professionals in acquiring continuous learning points (CLPs) for FAC recertification.
