Surety Bonds
Important Notice: The Surety Bond program will no longer accept paper submissions. All submissions must be made electronically to our e-mail address at Surety.Bonds@fiscal.treasury.gov.
The Bureau of the Fiscal Service administers the surety bond program for the federal government under 31 U.S.C. 9304-9308 for companies who wish to:
- directly write federal bonds
- reinsure federal bonds
- be recognized as an Admitted Reinsurer for the companies in Categories 1 & 2
