AAPC Internal Use Software Task Force

Project Summary

The Accounting and Auditing Policy Committee (AAPC) established the internal use software working group to develop implementation guidance for Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) 10, Accounting for Internal Use Software

At the November 19, 2015, AAPC meeting, the AAPC considered the comment letters received in response to the exposure draft (ED) titled Implementation Guidance on Internal Use Software. Members also discussed a summary of the issues and recommendations proposed by Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) staff. The members approved the final vote in December 2015. The attachments below include the working group roster, the IUS working group updates to the FASAB and the AAPC, and a summary of the comment letters received on the ED.
