The DCSA Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity (DEO) monitors the agency's affirmative employment plans and programs. It assists the DCSA management in achieving a diverse workforce and in assuring that the Agency is in compliance with pertinent Federal laws, Executive Orders, and DOD Directives and Policies relating to equal employment opportunity. Having responsibility for the administration and enforcement of equal opportunity, the DCSA DEO Office manages an effective and fair DEO Complaints Program. Under its purview, the following special emphasis employment programs have been established: Women, Blacks, Hispanic, Asian Pacific Islander, Native American and Disability. The Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity's mission is to administer policies and ensure compliance with laws, regulations and affirmative employment practices and procedures for DCSA employees and applicants who seek employment.

Goals
Institutionalize EEO as an integral part of the DCSA mission; assure policies are practiced within the organization -eliminating unlawful discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (including sexual harassment), age, national origin, genetic information, sexual identity and disability (physical and mental), and to meet goals and objectives outlined in the annual Affirmative Employment Program Plan.
