U.S. Gas Infrastructure Exports Initiative

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is working to reschedule the Algeria Oil and Gas Production Enhancement Reverse Trade Mission. The objective of the visit is to introduce delegates from Algeria’s Ministry of Energy and Sonatrach to leading U.S. energy and information technology companies that are at the forefront of the global petroleum sector. Specifically, the visit will familiarize the delegation with U.S. equipment, service and technology providers that have digitalization expertise to improve efficiency and performance of oil and gas production.  Discussions will include cutting-edge Enhanced Oil Recovery techniques and reservoir management; extraction and production of shale gas; and utilization of solar power technology solutions.

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is working to reschedule the Pakistan LNG Supply and Natural Gas Infrastructure Reverse Mission, bringing senior decision-makers from Pakistan to the United States to meet with leading U.S. suppliers of LNG and related equipment and services. The delegation will include high-ranking officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Maritime Affairs, regulatory authorities and state-owned enterprises in the LNG sector.

As part of the itinerary, USTDA will host a business briefing for U.S. companies to learn about upcoming project opportunities. The date is TBD, but the event will likely take place in Houston, Texas. U.S. companies will showcase their technologies and expertise to the delegation as Pakistan plans to expand its LNG infrastructure.
