National Wilderness Workshop
Register today for the National Wilderness Workshop! Registration is now open for the 2017 National Wilderness Workshop, October 2-5 in Russelville, Arkansas. Hosted by the National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance and Society for Wilderness Stewardship, this year's workshop will focus on Wilderness Science, Wilderness Management Issues, and Wilderness Stewardship. Wilderness.net is a public wilderness information website formed in 1996 through a collaborative partnership between the Arthur Carhart National Wilderness Training Center and the Aldo Leopold Wilderness Research Institute--the federal government's wilderness training and research arms, respectively--and the College of Forestry and Conservation's Wilderness Institute at the University of Montana.
