Most Priority Mail International shipments include tracking and up to $100 in insurance with some exceptions. Most Priority Mail International Flat Rate Boxes and Envelopes are free. First-Class Mail International
Affordable International Mailing
First-Class Mail International® is our most affordable option for sending postcards, letters, and flats to other countries. You can ship items up to 15.994 oz that are less than $400 in value to more than 190 countries. Global Forever stamps are $1.20.
First-Class Package International Service
Affordable Lightweight Shipping
First-Class Package International Service® (FCPIS®) is an economical way to send lightweight packages to more than 190 countries. Packages can weigh up to 4 lbs but must not be more than $400 in value. Other restrictions may apply based on the destination country. First-Class Package International includes Electronic USPS Delivery Confirmation® International (E-USPS DELCON INTL®) when you ship online to select destinations. Prices start at $12.25.
Weight, Size, & Shape Requirements
- Maximum weight is 64 oz (4 lbs).
- Maximum combined length, height, and width is 36 inches (42 inches for rolls/tubes).
- Some countries have specific prohibitions and restrictions.
Airmail M-Bags
Send Large Amounts of Printed Material
Airmail M-Bag® packaging is the most affordable way to send large amounts of printed material internationally, including newspapers, magazines, journals, books, sheet music, catalogs, directories, commercial advertising, and promotional matter. Delivery varies by destination. Prices start at $51.70 at a Post Office™ location.
Weight, Size, & Shape Requirements
- No minimum weight, but any M-Bag under 11 lbs will be charged at the 11 lb price.
- Maximum weight is 66 lbs.
- Some countries have specific prohibitions and restrictions.

Airmail M-Bags must include a customs form.

Returns & Refunds
For any returned item bearing a customs form, the Postal Service will, upon request, refund postage and fees on mail returned due to the suspension of service. For all other returned items not bearing a customs declarations form, the Postal Service will, upon request, refund postage and fees on an item returned due to the suspension of service, or you may resend the item with the existing postage once service has been restored. If you choose to resend the item later, you must cross out the markings "Mail Service Suspended — Return to Sender."

Military Mail
Unless noted otherwise on International Service Alerts, service suspensions to a particular country do not affect delivery of military and diplomatic mail.
Priority Mail Express International Notice
Shipping to Europe, China, & Hong Kong
As of March 23, 2020, USPS has temporarily suspended the guarantee on Priority Mail Express International service items destined for the following European countries:
- France
- Great Britain
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
Also, since Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, we temporarily suspended the guarantee on Priority Mail Express International items destined for China and Hong Kong. These suspensions will be in effect until further notice. We are taking all reasonable measures to minimize the impact to your shipping needs.
