Ms. DiGuiseppi entered on duty with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on January 31, 1999. Upon graduation from the FBI Academy in May 1999, she was assigned to the Salt Lake City Field Office (SU) where she worked violent crime, drug, and public corruption matters through her assignments on Safe Streets and HIDTA Task Forces.
In January 2008, Ms. DiGuiseppi was promoted to Assistant Legal Attaché in Baghdad, Iraq where she supervised the FBI’s Major Crimes Task Force whose mission was to implement the FBI’s initiative of establishing Rule of Law. Ms. DiGuiseppi supervised U.S. and Iraq investigators who investigated violent crime, corruption, and terrorism matters, and collected intelligence to ensure the safety of US/coalition partners.
After returning to SU in July 2009, Ms. DiGuiseppi was assigned to the DEA’s Drug Diversion Task Force until she was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) in 2010 in the Global Initiatives Unit, CJIS Division. In this capacity, she was as assigned as the FBI’s biometric lead in Kabul, Afghanistan where she worked with US, coalition, and Afghan partners to develop the Afghan biometric database. As a result of her efforts she received the Director’s Award for Excellence in Leadership.
In April 2012, Ms. DiGuiseppi was assigned to the FBI’s Memphis Field Office where she supervised the Civil Rights, Public Corruption, and Violent Crimes Against Children/Child Exploitation Task Force.
In June 2014, Ms. DiGuiseppi was promoted to Assistant Section Chief of the Public Corruption and Civil Rights Section where she oversaw the management of the Public Corruption Unit, Civil Rights Unit, International Corruption Unit and the Genocide War Crimes Unit.
In June 2015, Ms. DiGuiseppi was selected as the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Assistant Director (AD) of the Criminal Investigative Division (CID) where she coordinated and collaborated with the Special Assistants and CoS’ from the CCSRB, Deputy Director, and Director’s offices to ensure FBI Executive Management had all relevant information to accomplish their missions.
In 2016, Ms. DiGuiseppi became the Assistant Section Chief of the Transnational Organized Crime – Eastern Hemisphere Section where she managed a wide range of domestic and international operational programs focused on organized crime and major theft.
In May 2017, Ms. DiGuiseppi became the Intelligence ASAC with oversight of Denver’s Intelligence/HUMINT Programs, Rocky Mountain Computer Forensic Laboratory, Surveillance Programs and WY Resident Agencies.
In October 2019, Ms. DiGuiseppi was selected as Section Chief of the FBI Training Division’s Curriculum Management Section.
In November 2020, Ms. DiGuiseppi was selected as the Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI Training Division.
Ms. DiGuiseppi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in criminal justice, a Master’s degree from the Western New England College in criminal justice, and a Master’s degree from Florida International University in Hospitality Administration & Management. Prior to joining the FBI, Ms. DiGuiseppi served as an officer in the United States Air Force from 1989 to 1998.
