Contributors
Mary Samantha Barton received a Ph.D. in history from the University of Virginia in 2016 and joined the Historical Office of the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a contract historian in 2017.
Leslie C. is a career CIA Directorate of Operations officer who has an interest in intelligence history.
Thomas G. Coffey is a member of CSI’s Lessons Learned Program. His work and frequent reviews focus on the relationship between intelligence and policy.
J. E. Leonardson is the penname of a serving CIA officer.
David A. Foy is the Intelligence Community historian on the History Staff of the Center for the Study of Intelligence. He is a frequent contributor of book reviews.
Joseph W. Gartin is Deputy Associate Director of CIA for Learning. He has led analyis as vice chairman of the National Intelligence Council, as director of a regional office of analysis in CIA’s Directorate of Intelligence, and as chief of the President’s Daily Briefing Staff.
Sarah Lichterman serves on the staff of CIA’s Office of Public Affairs.
Richard A. Mobley is a long time military analyst in CIA’s Directorate of Analysis.
Hayden Peake has served in the CIA’s Directorates of Operations and Science and Technology. He has been compiling and writing reviews for the “Intelligence Officer’s Bookshelf” since December 2002.
J. R. Seeger is a retired CIA operations officer and frequent contributor of reviews.
Peter Usowski is the Chairman of the Editorial Board of Studies in Intelligence and Director of the Center for the Study of Intelligence.
Robert W. Wallace is a retired senior CIA officer and author. He is, with H. Keith Melton, author of Spycraft: The Secret History of the CIA’s Spytechs, from Communism to Al-Qaeda and The Official CIA Manual of Trickery and Deception.
